Christ the King Battyeford, St Mary the Virgin Mirfield, St Paul’s Eastthorpe, St John the Evangelist Upper Hopton form the Mirfield Anglican Partnership. Christ the King is at present staffed separately, having its own vicar. The other three churches, however, have one vicar between them, who, with his other staff, looks after the three churches together in a team. The “partnership” is at present an informal relationship between all four churches, attempting to do together what can be done collaboratively without a formal structured relationship.
